Back To School
Welcome back to school, Bobcats! The 2009-10 school year is going to be very exciting. There are a few things you may want to know about this school year as well as about your new Spanish 2 teacher. My name is Mr. Brock Payne and am a first-year Spanish teacher here at Childress High. I graduated high school in 2002 at Clovis West H. S. in Fresno, CA. After high school I went on a religious mission to Paraguay for 2 years from 2003-05. It was there that I gained a passion for the Spanish language. After returning from Paraguay, I attended Weber State University where I played football and graduated with a BA in Spanish with a Coaching Sport minor. I married Shayla Keys in 2007 and we have a 1 yr. old little girl, Brek Olivia, and are expecting another addition to our new family in January. I am very excited to get started teaching and find out what Bobcat pride is all about.
